We are seeking a Licensed Nurse Assistant for our Vernon Green nursing facility to assist in routine daily resident care. The ideal candidate will be a caring, enthusiastic and team oriented professional who will appreciate our supportive and friendly environment.

Responsibilities include:

•  Providing friendly, superb service to residents with duties such as bathing, dressing, grooming, assisting with personal health care and attention to resident comfort and condition
•  Making beds and caring for residents' personal belongings        
•  Managing food trays and assisting in feeding
•  Participating in bowel/bladder and toileting program including caring for equipment
•  Assisting with resident exercise and related equipment
•  Taking and recording vital signs and measures
•  Keeping residents' rooms in order
•  Interacting with other staff team members
•  Attending professional development programs and staff meetings
•  Participating in the Nursing Department's Q.A.A. process

Qualifications include:
•  Vermont Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant  
•  Personal ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
•  Patience, cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and ability to handle difficult residents
•  Reliable means of getting to work on time
